Let's not be too harsh - you don't need to use ALL thise tips, if you don't want to, I'm sure just using some of them will help.

You can also use the numerals on your keypad to select your options instead of scrolling with the joystick - this also works from the desktop icons menu, "9" will select "My shortcuts" etc.

as cophia says...you don't need to do ALL this things..

I just disabled startup message & deleted unnecessary pics, tones, themes.

I use a t68i with 'Candidates in SMS' on. How do I remove candidates from the list? I see some entries that I don't need and like to delete them.

Thanks RandyR.

What I actually mean is, while still having 'Candidates' activated, how do I delete/remove selected words from the candidates list? I don't want to disable candidates since I find it very useful. However, there are some words in the list of candidates that are useless, so I'd like to remove them. I don't know though if this is possible.

I have done a similar cleanup (T68i with R6A) but what seemed to improve the speed most was switching to the Classic theme and removing useless default pictures. Having a background on does not seem to negatively impact performace.

oh i see. sorry but you cant remove the candidates. it's pre programmed into your phone already. but as of the new words that you have saved, it just cycles, meaning, your unused user-saved candidates will be deleted first to make way for the new user-saved candidates. Hmmm.... confusing huh?
