maybe it is worth phoning up o2 and getting them to give you discount.
Can I point out that this thread should really be in the "General" forum rather than "Non Mobile"
It would be a new contract with them so why would I get discount?
I didn't know where to put the topic when i started it....don't know why i put it in here, sorry about that

O2 have stated to us that we are to try and steer people away from that phone to something better, as even on the £45/month tariff that its free on, their loosing money on it.
So no, sorry, you won't get a discount, but if you go with Phones 4U, I guarentee you won't hear the end of it
Don't come crawling back when they won't touch your warranty or they don't understand what 'maps' are etc etc, not to mention the dodgy billing and really, really poor customer service. I'd rather pay for quality, but there you go

20/20 are a phone distributor, as are Hugh Symons, avenair, talktime, and a few others I can't remember, Dextra? the same Dextra that were owned by the P4U group?

we know what to expect with P4u as my mum had trouble with them almost forcing her to buy insurance....and then having someone call up to claim the insurance company has changed....when infact it hadn't however they knew all her details and it was a legit insurance co. :s
