thats not entirely true. N96/N95 8GB and Samsung G810 are both all in one phones offering the best of what nokia and samsung have to offer.

Just integrate HSDPA chip, OMAP 3420, and UIQ 3.3 on G900 and add Autofocus mechanism on G700 and that'll be perfect for me  G900 gets really close in competing N96 and G810 but it was axed due to lack of the three important essentials mentioned above

Razec at any point of time dont u think u r expecting too much from Se,I see ur praising Imobile (or somephone) everywhere in gsmarena comments(who else could be) section and esato about the CCD sensor seems to be never come true, And it wont be integrated anytime soon in Se, So all this are not going to happen atleast by 2009 to be earliest by SE.
So don't build up ur hopes, be Practical, Dont day dream, think technical.Follow the expert's advice

Please refer to the title of the thread - that was where i based my opinion posted above. i didn't mention anything about i-mobile or CCD here please keep on topic - and for instance i never said i want CCD on G900 here in my post. perhaps you're referring to my other post on the other thread but it has nothing to do with this thread imo.

You missed the point. What i said was N96 is the best of all the technologies NOKIA has to offer. Biggest screen, fastest processor, 24 Bit sound card, best camera, best video and so on and so forth.
SE hasnt tried to make a phone with the best of WHAT THEY have to offer.

he stated there is no perfect phone, you said those 2 phones have the best to offer, still not perfect for some users surely..................

if the Play/Pause button's omission from recent phones troubles you ... there is thread right here on Esato for a petition to SE in order to bring it back to newer phones.

I think the W760i is going to be a GREAT phone!
I've already seen several non AF pics from the 2MP camera of the W910 in daylight and I'm surprised of the better than expected quality. I have more faith in the W760i as it does have photofix as well. Why not have the camera protected with the slide-IN and only needed when slide out? Shortcut keys on the keypad make good use - A+B buttons only give you so much on the K800 without touching the numerical keypad. |

A k810/00 with a few mods will suit you, especialy if you want the pause button on the side |

A bespoke modular device, based on a choice of chasis, with my own choice of integrated components (this would of course have an impact on the type of chasis). Very much akin to the pc I'm typing this on in fact (only smaller ). Oh yes, of course the components would be capable of running a variety of OSs, and the customer would have the option of specialised applications such as a 'walkman' media player, 'cyber-shot' cam driver, or the basic 'vanilla' options.
After all, other sectors of the consumer industry have 'options' on their products, eg. the motor industry, or as I said the makers of of personal computers. So why is the mobile phone industry so far behind? Give the customers what they want, and not what you think they should want.

i think that is a great idea...altho a little too ahead of its time...at the moment the phone manufacturers are still trying to keep things as simple as they possibly can...giving the consumer so many choices would only tend to complicate it for most of them and end up confusing them |

Well, I'm sure QVGA meant SE could try to AIM for perfection as other companies have done rather than segmentizing for maximum profitability while compromising their credibility among the tech-literate
