muhammad> You are right, it does not support HSUPA. But I forgot Edge. And on the Canadian site, it is the z750i that is referred to. But I still don't see a difference with the z750a????
I think clamshells are also welcome in some asian countries. I guess it would be too expensive to support it in Europe in view of the expected small number of items sold here. Except mine, I have never seen a z610 here in Belgium, I must admit.

Is like clamshell's and have owned a few. Do prefer them over the slider's as se seem to make the slide mechanisms a bit weak.

Maybe the difference between a Z750i and Z750a is that the Z750a doesn't have a video call camera? Not sure though...

I didn't think of the video call. Anyway, it is stupid to have an almost universal phone with Edge, 3G, HSDPA, UMTS but without a video call cam because it is sold in the US.
In fact I am interested in the phone because I travel all around the world. And with all the frequencies and protocols implemented, the z750 seems to be the phone for me.

And yes, it will be hard to find one. Maybe next time I travel to Toronto.

I loved my Z600 back in the day. Probably the phone I loved owning the most.

IF you mean Toronto, Ontario, Canada ... don't come here too soon. Its been delayed for BOTH Rogers & Fido along with AT&T in the USA. Z750(a/i) is like the bastard child of SE. The others, Z500/Z520/z700 all were shipped on time if not early and always had dual carrier support here in Canada.
The w980i may change SE's perception of a successfully designed clamshell, and maybe, JUST maybe we'll get this in the fashionable z series clamshell.

candy bar phone n. A cell phone with no lid and with a rectangular shape that resembles a traditional candy bar. Also: candy-bar phone, bar phone.

I had a Z310, it is a dog turd of a phone. It looks good but otherwise useless. Switched to K770, much more quality. Problem with Z phones is that they are purely for design so as a result, it ends up being crappy. |

Yes indeed, I mean Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Thanks for the info. I did not plan to come before next autumn anyway.
Oh by the way, my successive phones were T39m, z600i and now z610i. Not changing very often as you can see from the list.

The Z710i/W710i are great phones. Not the best looking, but very good phones. |
