Sorry if this is a dumb question, but whats so bad about HD-DVD compared to Blu-Ray?

It isn't that bad but Blu-Ray has some advantages such as greater capacity and faster data rates. Warner has simply chosen the format they think is best suited to the future of movie discs and as a result made things pretty bleak for HD-DVD
