Sorry to hear that ur cell is not working now in my country cell mechanics are every where but i know repair is sound like costly in your country so its better to get a newer phone  |

So after my frtustration of realizing SE has discontinued the W810 and not really being keen on any of the newer models I've located some for sale on Amazon and assume it a trustworthy retailer so I may go that route.
My current question is since my sim card came away from the bathtub incident without injury, can I expect my memory stick to be ok too or will it be useless? Really hoping that the seven or so hours of music I had on it are still sound as I'm not sure a new phone from Amazon priced at only $235 will include the memory stick. |

The memory stick really should be fine. They're pretty well sealed I think.
The contacts might be a little corroded, if anything. have a look at them, otherwise, I'd say it's probably fine

Cellphone service centres don't wanna know Drowned/Liquid handsets,
I was in my local Service centre the other day where this guy looked pretty upset to learn they couldn't fix his phone, only knows what he spilt on it 
btw W810i should be cheap there £79.99 from most places here and they haven't kissed them goodbye yet, even that Damned K750i thing refuses to be killed off

And yes, I should explore my cellular options cause much like the K750, I am rather aware that my beloved W810 is practically a vintage relic these days. But that said, everyone thinks it is so cool when I pull out my phone to snap a pic and then the flash comes on. Guess most phones, even the new ones just don't do it anymore. Then when I tell people it doubles as my Walkman they're totally floored. The iPhone can suck my c**k, it bites! |

i have a W810i myself,i like it and all,but try to get one with Walkman 2.0 on board,something like W580i or W610i both are good replacements for your W810i |

Just to rub it in, I pay £6.99 a month for full theft and accident cover on my k850i which includes water damage. If I water damage my phone I get a new one within 48 hours XD. If my phone hasnt been stolen or damaged by month 14 of my contract, I'll drown it XD. |
