anyway comparing it with the K800i i particularly like the auto rotate feature, the new media player, the camera interface and the excellent internal speaker quality for music. other than that i dont find it much of an improvement really. nothing spectacular. just a small but worthy evolution. i hope the next K series phone has a big and realiable touch screen. |

Really? My n95 dosnt run out of battery life that quick. People only comment on bad battery life because they proberly leave all its apps on, the n95 has quite a decent battery life, and a better phone all round imo |

A negative is inferior build quality, but hopefully these will have been sorted by now. It's a brilliant phone.

K850i = FORM OVER FUNCTION.
I don't think its a replacement for the k800/k750. The 850 seems aimed at a younger audience, more interested in gimmicks than in true functionality. I think I'm too old for it (35). I hope they do a slightly more boring businesslike phone next time, more like its predecessors.
I find it fiddly and disappointing.
* The perma-smudged lens cover is a disaster, and mine also now has dust inside it (despite me being careful).
* The 3 touch buttons only work well when you're not meaning to push them....
* the rotate thing often takes so long that you don't think its working so have put it back the other way up by the time it does it...
* While trying to answer a call, i've twice turned on the loudspeaker, which is embarassing.
* I could text way faster on my k800. I've not got used to the buttons after 2 months of use. |

I agree with all of this. Ok i dunno about the dust in the camera..yet. i'm sure that'll happen soon lol. i think the k800i pretty much did the same thing but faster and more simpler. yeh i hope the next model is more businesslike. i got the LG Viewty hoping it would be quite businesslike but it was crap lol. |

I suggest K850 for you if you don't have K810. as you may get disappointed with the hardware issues it has excluding the flash issue which is fixable with firmware updates. sensor size is smaller or the same than K810. which means each pixels in K85- camera sensor recieves lesser light intensity than K810's as the cramped 5million pixels tries to catch more light but fails compared to the 3 million pixels in K810/K800. better wait for the proper successor of the K800. not the K850 as it seems to be an experiment product of the company as you can see, everything physically discernible in K850 doesn't resemble the classic designs on the former phones. all you have to do now is to wait, if you still love otherwise if you're tempted for a nokia phone then go for it

you can also minimise the bluetooth tranfer and use other phone functions while transfering files |
