He he... Yeah, different folks different strokes. But if you can just choose to turn this feature off, then it's all good! I hardly ever miss an sms cause, i use a .wav file as a message tone. I have cartman singing the song; kyle's mum is a bitch really loud... He he loads of fun seeing peoples reactions when i get an sms!! = )

A workaround is to put the phone into "airplane mode".
This way the alarm will go off but you will not be awakened by every SMS or any incoming calls.... |

there are so many options,how to use the ALARM!!! most simple choose is to create your OWN PROFIL,so it means You will deactivited the SMS tone cause U dont wanna wake up with a SMS tone right!!but alarm WORKS |

No group profiles thats true.. but u can select profile per each person instead.. which i more prefer.. to have 1 way only and not making group profiles + single user profile.
Once again regarding Alarm... Alarm work when P800 is ON (including standby) which is up to 400Hours...
This phone u never turn off in first place! |

Well one way to solve this would be to write a small JAVA program which controls the level of "power up" on the phone.. |
