How is the video playback on the K850i? |

I totally agree, the K850i screen is crystal. I had casino Royal on my phone in 3gp and when my mate seen it he was well inpressed. I trasfered it to his N95 and altough the screen is a few mm bigger the picture was just not as sharp and punchy. the blacks are darker on the se, I don't know if its due to the LCD being closer to the sceen or what but the quality is fantastic.
I love my 038 k850i. True it has it's faults but maybe we are being to picky? For what it can do as a total package, it is trully fantastic. |

I still agree that n 95 takes at vga resolution...
But why are we in love with se for so long...coz of it size and feature it packs in that small size...
My friend has got n95 8gb version...
But compared to mine K850 it looks like some mini laptop...!lol..,
Better i dont want to be charged for extra baggage in train ...!
K850 takes video smooth at 30 fps...and playback is just awesome...
And sound recording and reproduction is also great..
Anyway this video is more than enough coz i aint gona shoot a hollywood film

So back to topic. The question asked was: "what video formats does the k850 support?"
So far we said 3gp and mp4 what would be the best bit rate, screen size and sound for it? |

Afaik...K850 is awesome...give it a few more firmware updates...it will repeat k750's record...

Bear in mind, framerates tend to fluctuate depending on the environment, this was taken indoors, I'd say outdoor capture should give better frame rates but the indoor one demonstrated is far from satisfactory. It is not in messaging format and it can't be faulty since it is a display model at a Sony shop, and if you look at my signature you can see how much of an Ericsson/SE freak I am

K850 QVGA at 30fps video rec is a farce. You dont get 30fps unless with very little scene movement. Even in daylight, a lot of the time fps drops to 15fps when there is very fast scene. So instead of false marketing, SE should label it it as QVGA 7.5 to 30fps. |

I cant download your video... I am on mobile now... But do keep in mind that show piece model are not the BEST compared to retail ones..
Yesterday i took a video...in night... Indoor.. And i am really happy that video came out was really smooth..
Needless to say it should be more than 25 fps...
Please try to change the setting ... Mine works perfectly...
Try to switch on the stabilizes function...
Still 7.5 fps ... No way unless i am recording a jet lee fight

from what i see from each 10 K850 8 of them have the video fps bug. |

Update! Well you're wrong on this video. It looks like 10fps or even 15fps via the flash encoding of the site. But on my local PC without Re-Encoding, VLC Media Player shows the following specs for the same video.
