Hi.
I've exactly the same problem with 14 days old T68i.
I've charged it 4 times and I had about 280h standby time. But after that I have suddenly only 55h standby, but 8h talk time after full (2h) charging. I'm not using my phone to much.
So, I've turned off GPRS, release battery and gave it back - and now I've mine 280h standby back:-). So I don't know where was mistake...

Despite hearing horror stories about the volume slider, over the past day i have been checking the status quite a few times. The standby numbers have flucuated three different times, one number is the high number at 105, next is 32 and 12. I dont know what the deal is.

Para: I tried what you said and it seems to have worked. Who knows if it'll stick though. We'll soon find out. Did it seem to permanently fix your problem? If so, have you tried to switch it back to gprs gsm?

Thanks

Actually I've turned GPRS on right after I've put battery back and checked standby time and it behave corretly (280h and countdown). It seems software checks all potential juice consuming during charging and after then calculate somehow standby time. Weird. But I did it yesterday, so I need wait a few days till next recharge to do more experiments:-). We will see...
