did it work? |
hurny Joined: Dec 04, 2002 Posts: 350 From: Australia PM |
I live in Australia, and the +447747782320 works, but the +447940300300 doesnt.
Anyone know how to make the sender or subject have your name instead of the no. or the provider? I think most people who recieved these messages would think it was just junk. |

+447940300300 works for me?! and you can put your name in the subject if you write
name@hotmail.com##your name as the subject#the message
Did the message not deliver or did it deliver and you not get the email? |

No- its just not being sent to my email. Are those hashes between the email address and your name, or spaces? |

easier way of doing this:
Messages, Options, E-mail gateways - enter the number.
change the sms type to Email
Messages, Options, SMS type - E-mail.
now when you write a normal sms you will actually be sending it as an email to an email address in your phonebook.
ps remember to switch back to Text sms to send normal ones to mobiles.

I live in Azerbaijan, and on my network Azercell we have a service called mailCELL which basically allows u to send text message email everywhere. I simply compose sms:
e-mail .subject. message body
and send it to +994509000
And It Works!
cheerz
P.S. Have tried the numbers posted here earlier, none of them worked for me so far... |
