Most properly working examples dont give trouble of that sort, dont condemn the barrel because you got stuck with the rotten apple.
You know what? I think this is what people should actually acknowledge.
I don't think there is one manufacturer that would actually admit that any one of their offerings are completely flawless.
From what I have read on here, people have differing experiences with each and every phone and I am a firm believer that the more 'complex' a device is, the more this is to be expected.
To put it bluntly though, if you're not happy take it back and get a replacement. If you're still not happy, then choose wisely next time.

I have 4 friends who bought N95 and all are reporting about the same battery life as me that is 1-2 days with heavy to moderate use.
KingBooker: most likely you got a dud set. I dont think N95 would still be selling so well if it can only last a few hours standby without any usage. It would be a fiasco as Nokia will be swamped with returns and operators dropping the N95 like flies.
Your rant sounds bitter with no logic at all. Strange that it didnt even cross your mind that you may have a dud set/battery. Most rational person would have.
Do the smart thing and exchange your set. |

I realised that the n95 actually gets better with age lol when i got it if i tried opening more than four apps it would reboot yet just yesterday an hour after someone used my phone i realised it was working bit slower and was shocked to find it had several powerfull apps open including two games PGR and ducati 3d and apps like opera mini, divx player, web browser, log, file transfer, radio, live pvr...and during that hour i used my phone to make couple calls and send an sms yet it never froze or reboot.i never thought it possible when i first got my phone.also the battery needed to be charged twice daily for the first two weeks but now it last bout four times as long so it'll happily go through two days.and i haven't turned of my 3g reception but wifi is of.

No but standy times in ALL devices are affected by the Network upon which they are on.
