i think that speed is normal because the speed of gprs completely depends on the network most of the time the network is busy because it also depends upon voice traffic i am using edge phone at night i get 64kbps speed but at day time when there is voice traffic i get around 15 using edge
so i think if u want speed better go 4 3g othervise respective to gprs ure getting a really good speed

I think that consulting your mobile operator could be the best thing to do.

Yeah, speed depends on your own network, but you could try using an openDNS setting.
Uncheck 'automatic' and try entering these-
Primary, 208.067.222.222
Secondary, 208.067.220.220

An openDNS setting runs independantly of a bog standard network setting, so isnt affected by how many customers are using it.

How is faster? Using Opera Mini or Mobile Internet default browser?
I also heard that surfing the web with Opera you have less traffic than the default browser.
