Do you have edge at your place. There is no other way to increase the speed of gprs.(unless a 3G)

Ok then-The speed depends on the network, how busy it is at the time when you download. Have you tried it in morning hours??
Also it depends on the operator to operator. Btw any of your friend get the speed of 57kbps?? |

Yeah its speed up at late night hours n in morning.U pointed right might be its because of users. About my friends all stupid use another service. But i myself has used it on my laptop with saying 115kb/s but in reality i guess it was not more then 15kb/s.it took 15mins in open google search page. Its annoying. |

The speeds you are telling are in KiloBITES per second (Kbps), while the Pc uses kiloBYTES (KBps)as the storage unit, to convert, divide Kbps with 8, so 47Kbps = 5.8KBps |

I think u can't get more than 20 kbps in mobile gprs, i usually got around 7 to 15 kbps and i think there is no other way to increase it further, i don't know wheither 3g or edge help me because both are unavailable to my phone, however i got the class 10 gprs (around 40 to 48 kbps),
thanks
