iPhone + t-mobile would have been a marriage made in heaven basically.

Hopefully, O2 will come in from the cold and begin offering flat fee data plans.

Sell a load of Iphones one weekend and watch those operators fight for an exclusive contract. Quite a smart move from Apple. I guess Vodaphone would not back away from having the Iphone Vodabranded.

According to this O2 has denied press reports that it has signed a deal with Apple for the iPhone in the UK. 'We have no deal with Apple,' the network said.

... and they would be right to deny it too. They HAVE NOT signed a contract with Apple YET! Untill 02 put pen to contract they can rightfully say they have not signed a contract. 0" didnt come out and say they are not in talks with Apple though;)

The title of this thread should be changed to O2 may have won the contract for the iPhone.

Guys, this is so far only a rumour, sorry to burst everyones bubble, but i just got into work, and internal memo, has advised we will be getting calls at o2 regarding the iphone, however at this stage this is only a rumour, and no deal has been agreed.

This post confirms what axxxr said, if there is any iphone release by O2, trust me i will be the 1st to broadcast this to the esato world.
