Sorry, maybe a stupid question but what does "HSCSD" mean???

i think "high speed circuit switched data". It's basically an alternative system to GPRS (general packet radio services) for high speed data transfer over gsm.
i don't honestly know which is better, but networks either offer one or the other- not both. having the phone support both (like most, if not possibly all, ericsson's) just gives you greater flexibility over who you use.
here in the UK, i think only Orange do HSCSD, while the others all offer GPRS. could be wrong tho. |
