@Superluminova

I really hope Voda don't get as with their current data charges that would be a total waste and the rumour is that it may be coming to T-Mobile.

This war will be a nasty one as the iphone is a hard one to beat, and others will have to come up with something pretty damn amazing to pry people away from iphones, this new apple presentation says it all. [addsig]

the iPhone looks amazing, and it probably feels amazing in the palm of your hand, too. It's sleek, curvy, shiny, and sexy, with on-screen icons and buttons that just ooze and drip

For a p series user iphone may not be major change...
the touch screen in iphone must need to have a very short response time to make it a big hit...

the majority of users will be the medium range users who need it as a mutimedia device and plenty of messaging...

with messaging the handset can be a draw back... hopefully something turns out good...

I always wished there would be some competition in touch screen market...

SE ruled it quite much.. most of Windows based handset have been lousy , except for may be HTC Tytn

Yes OS X on on a phone is a great leap but i can't help but thinking that it sould have had a keypad and some nice normal, boring, bog standard buttons.

Is it a great leap forward or backward? While the new OS for smart phones is welcomed it will not guarantee that it will be as smooth as its parent Mac OS, at least for the first few upgrades of the firmware. Hope that there will be no more bugware in the phone.

But.. I am not interested in this phone unless I get it free of charge. Apple, are you providing me one? Any way, good luck for the success of this phone!

iphone is like video call. Before video call is a reality, everyone went into frenzy that it is the future of the phone. Then people realised it is a pain-in-the-a** to make vid-call. Before long, people will realise the the only thing iphone is good for is to hold it in your hand or wear it around the neck in public. To make phone call/messaging you will silently and ashamedly reach into your pocket and pull out a nokia.

I am with Mib on this one - althou I ain't so sure about that Nokia. iPhone must show its color first and then I will take a decision.
