In my experience, convergence isn't here (in the present) yet. If it were, we wouldn't hear excuses like, "Of course a dedicated device is better at ___ than an all-in-one"

I'm asking if something like the N73 or N95 has, in fact, made real, practical convergence a present-day reality. Based on reviews, I would say the N95 is almost there, hampered only by


  • sluggishness of some apps, e.g., camera, GPS
  • mediocre audio output quality
  • expectedly poor battery life


I guess I'll just have to wait for N95 v.2... I would see v.1 for myself, of course, except the nearest Nokia store is 500 miles away

(And I can't use the N91, for its lack of the 850 MHz voice band.)
