I agree - the T68 will be around for a fair while longer. More & more keep appearing strapped to folk's ears.

Come on extra 'plug in' memory would be fab! Good thinkin largepig

I`m going to stick with my original view, because polyphonic & java are quite common now on Nokias, it knocks the "COOL" value of the t68i down alot. what you need is a damaged ipaq (brocken screen or similar), to make it viable. Personally i just put stuff i want to store (from the my pictures menu) onto my pc, then back on the phone if i want it back. i use the (2 way) MSI bluetooth key.

I have been thinking about getting one of the bluetooth keys. I only have cable at the moment. We'll have to see what happens to the t68i, i think it'll be about for some time, but i could be proven completeley wrong!!!

On a more adventurous note. How about opening the T68i.

Then unsoldering the memory chip and replacing it with a larger capacity one.

No! it's not expensive!
Ask the Taiwanese to make the memory key attachment.

Bugone, if you held a soldering iron on those contacts for longer than a couple of seconds you would trash the phone, you more than likely know that, but it`s worth pointing out i think. by the way, i would like to take this oportunity to thank you for your MSI install guide, it worked for me, i would have given up for sure if it was`nt for that post.

There may be a software limit on the maximum memory the phone can use on the inbuilt chip, general storage space begin and end memory addresses..... i havn't looked at schematics but my guess is that the os is on the same chip......????? I am open to corrections on this!!!!!!!

It would have to be a good match for the board otherwise the t68 housing would have to be butchered..... i still like the external add on, no waranty voiding going on!
