nice!!
Nokia users are taking to taking it to bits rather than sending it back..

My earpiece also crackles, started over the weekend. Unfortunately I too am out of my 14 day period. My local service centre told me the N95 was "too new" to be repaired. lol
edit: Found a solution. Look below.

That 14 days is for if you want to cancel your contract, and for the handset you can exchange it for a new one within 30 days if its faulty. I did.

Arrrrrghhhhh I got the crackle too...
Bugger taking it apart...
A small blunt needle tip can part the little ear piece grill easily... a couple of light probes into the two holes.. and all is fine again... took 30 seconds...
Next stop was sending it off to Nokia... My M600i nearly came out of it's resting place...

I have the same problem with my two E61i. I took one to the care centre but they didn't find any problem (I would like to ask to god that how he builds their ear!!!!!) and didn't repair anything. Now I see what the main problem is. But one thing I’m not clear that have I put a paper clip on the hole just that? I’m not good in English so plz anyone explain me. thanks |
