I for one did not like the old /// style. I think the only stylish phone /// ever made was the T68m. And I don't like the new S/O/N/Y style one bit either. I like the P800 of course, but that's only for it's features.

I liked them all
But I still think they could have solved a lot more problems before the T68i release. |

With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

they should have released the t600 with colour screen. i dont understand why it is supposed to be better than t300 (600>300) if it even doesnt have grayscale like t200. just for size? come on... anyway, how likely is that they release a color t600?they designed the screen frame as if the screen could definetly be higher. it would have a \"8210 effect\" on the market.

1.)12-bit color screens as standard: yes
2.)polyphonic rings: yes (I don't really care how many instruments... I'm not gonna listen to a whole song before answering the damn call...how dumb would that be...not to mention rude)
3.)Faster CPU/menu speed
BUT... I DO NOT WANT THEM TO SACRIFICE BUILD QUALITY OR RELIABILITY... nor do I want endless delays.
I'd rather have the same T68 with these modifications:
-reliable (low defective unit ratio)
-fast (I mean, fast...I don't waiting for the phone to catch up w/ me)
-12-bit screen (bigger if possible)
-polyphonic ringtone..even if it's the same chip as the T300
-Memstick Duo
-magnesium casing like the old Ericsson...not this cheap 12cent plastic crap
-option for analog clock and option to turn off the blinking lights to save battery even further. |

Yeh I agree with you. What pisses me off about the t68i is the screen as it has such a crappy amount of colours so the mca 20 pics look crap when actually they are extremley good quality when viewed on the 7650

how about faster text messaging?
if se want to capture the low end, volume market, then they need to have phones capable of texting as fast as or faster than nokia.

I'm in the uk and the T300 is hardly being advertised even though there are some good deals out there such as the free camera attachment but hardly any stores are advertising this fact and neither does SE.
After all people like freebies, it makes the purchase seem more special and like a bargin.
People should be informed of MMS and how good it is or how good its gonna be and that they need a MMS phone like the T300. |

I agree with some points jplacson made, except for the polyphonic tones, I could care less about them unless it's loud.
As for MMS, I think it's one of the most useless features out there after EMS. I'd rather send Email than MMS, which is more free to use. |

In my school and probably eveywhere else everyone seems to have a 3310 or an nokia, SE should really get more phones for this type of market out there so it will encourage people to buy more SE phones and when the kids grow old enough to get contract they will hopefully choose one of the more expensive SE phone sout there. |

Need Java download capabilty. If y'all haven't tried this, it is really awesome. Have done it to a motorola 720 and a nokia 3590, and there are some great programs out there. Got 1 which stores all my passwords. Cool. Polyphonic ringtones, and ability to receive ringtones thru sms. Some flip models at reasonable prices. How bout an fm radio in the phone? Both mtorola and nokia have a model that does this. |

Do the FM headsets on phones transmit any radiation? |

@Raven,
I too don't like the design of the newer SonyEricsson phones - they seem more influenced by sony, and I think will only really appeal to a Japanese (type) market:
Very boxy and square - works with MP3/minidisc players but not mobile phones.
I liked the design of the old T29/39 with the 'sharkfin' aerial, but the screens were always too small. I also loved the idea of a really sturdy magnesium casing. However, I REALLY like the T68i design (much better than the T68).
An ideal phone would be a faster t68i, with a magnesium back, and a clip-on fascia (to replace the scratched case/screen after a few drops).
Phones seem to be getting boring (square) or just ridiculously odd (like some nokias). |
