What do u guys reckon they should do from inventing brand new features to advertising.

They should have classic games such as pong, pacman, space invader, tetris and possibly a stripped down version of sonic and final fantasy where you can download new features and upload scores to a wap site.

Some the games like pong should be playable over bluetooth as well. If people can challenge their friends then their friends will want one of those phones.

1) Increase production volume -> decrease prices (basic economics)
2) Improve project management in development (no more delays)

More deals such as including a blutooth headset free or if that is too much an mp3 or radio player free with it.

Although it might not be my taste but a lot of people like swapping their phone covers.

Free infra red ports or cables to make file transfer avalaible to everyone, i.e everyone can download the background they want from the interent instead of being restrieted to the 3kb wap limit.

MP3 ringtones and possibly batteries that can be refilled with methane etc, like fuel cells so recharging times are cut down to a few minutes.

Features such as MSN or Yahoo messeging.

Uhh, you can already download stuff to your phone without WAP, including backgrounds via Infra-red or bluetooth. Even on Esato, you don't need to use WAP.

As for changeable covers, I don't think Ericsson even thought about having changeable covers for the T68 in the first place, since it was more of a businessmans phone at first, but now I think they'd wish they did after this bond film.

But I agree that there should be some free bluetooth stuff included with the phone, since many people still are not aware of how great bluetooth is or how to use bluetooth, it would be a great way to get more people interested in bluetooth technology. I also agree that there should be some sort of instant messaging intergrated into phones, such as ICQ, MSN, or yahoo messenger.

As long the MP3 ringtones is loud enough for me to hear in busy places, I'll like it, but for now, I'll stick to my high pitched ringtone.

As for methane batteries, I don't think we'll see those any time soon, since there are some dangers to the public with such devices, not to mention to yourself. I also think it's kind of unpractical since all I do right now with my T68i is just plug it in when I get home, and in less than an hour it's fully recharged.

1)I think Se should make a phone similar to the t68i, but with exchangable covers, and ploy tones.

2)They should speed up the release of there models, cut down on delay, ie P800

Are you talking about the T300 with downloadble games, changeable covers and polyphonic ringtones along with most of the T68i features (less Bluetooth).

What SonyEricsson need to do is sell phones. Lots of phones. They need to capture the 'Nokia 3310' market and the T300 (which is aimed very low in price) may go a long way to achieving that. Sure, it doesn't have Bluetooth but that cuts the overall cost of the phone down, they have come up with a cheap phone that has mass appeal.

If you want something higher up in a mobile phone, go for the T68i or 7210. Or get a SmartPhone - but of course for all these you will be paying much more.

It's the cheapest, most full featured colour phone in the market that supports MMS picture messaging.

Let's hope it does will for SonyEricsson.

No the t300 is similar to what i described but simply does not have the same build quality of the T68i, and in this day of age , all phones should have Bt, unless you want a budget phone.

Yes and the T300 is a budget phone. It's a great little phone for the money but it is still a budget phone. SE is going after that 3310 market with this T300 and so far so good I think for them. T300's are selling real well here with TM USA.

Everyone is giving all these suggestions without even the basics...

Ericsson (not SE) would NOT have had a problem if they:
1.) Meet demand.
2.) DECREASE defective phone productions (I think they have a 25% defective phone production)
3.) Speed up the damn menus!

BASIC things could've saved Ericsson from the merger... these basic things could save SE too. Forget promos, forget fancy ads, forget more features... I want an Ericsson phone that works the way it's supposed to.

And seriously... I don't like the new SE designs, as sleek as they are... if I wanted Japanese looking phones, I'd have gotten Panasonic or Sony. I miss the Scandanavian designs. Not that I like Nokia's designs any better. They lost ALL sense of design after the 8110 series (all 8xxx phones after don't count since they're just refinements of the original)

Ericsson had the best designs for phones... SE has techie looking phone... not stylish. Kinda anime style. Nothing wrong with that... if the tech market is your ONLY market. Not everyone wants the 'cyberpunk' look.

I feel SE had no right to stamp their name on the T68i since they didn't do anything to it except remove the nice rubber back and give us that stupid SMS alert tone...or lack of it rather (The SW is NOT SE... this was Ericsson's original SW that was just delayed)

Yes, the software is just Ericsson's old software that they took out from underneath a pile of clothes in some guys closet and decided to call it new.

If they wanted too, I'm sure they could have fixed a lot of problems already, before the release of the T68i, but they want us to be angry
