For all P800 owners who intend to use it on a plane...
Be polite... just because the P800 has flight mode, that doesn't give us the right to use it without informing the cabin crew. They can even ban CD players and PDAs if they wanted to... just be polite and ask them if you can use the PDA on your mobile phone... the phone won't be on, and show them the power-up selection screen so that they will be informed.
The P800 is the first of it's kind to offer a "Flight mode"... so don't be a show-off and whip out your phone and expect everyone to know that it has a "Flight Mode".
Be civil about it... cuz remember, there was a case of a guy being thrown off the plane for refusing to turn off his mobile. Just be polite! And take the time to explain to the less-informed cabin crew about the "Flight mode" of the P800!! Happy trip! |
