It seems that your phone does not like to be in India.
Don't go there again unless you want to meet The P990i Screen Decalibrator . |

sorry i didn't see this thread earlier - you probably just had some dirt or something lodged down the side of the screen. |

My P990i developed LCD screen calibration problem. i.e. Actual touch point got shifted upwords almost
by an inch. Due to this I am unable to calibrate point no.1.
Even factory setting does not solve this problem. Sony service center replied that even after replacing
LCD, problem is not solved. They returned without repair. It is just 6 months old but I do not have India
country guarantee, so I am forced to throw the mobile.
Sony Service Center not ready to repair even thoug I am ready to pay...!
Next time I will not buy Sony phones.....
