8600... so hideous.. then again so is the name.. even being cheap it should have some sort of elegance as does it's mentor rather than a chrome framed curved and slidey 6020....

i stick with w950i n gave up my p990i to make way for 8800i sirroco, it's fantastic all around conventional cellphone, the finish is outstanding, just like the previous 88xx series, but i think 8600 is nowhere near them, imo 8810 is the best stylish phone |

Right, it's out at Carphone Warehouse on the 25th (this Friday) so I should hopefully have my greasy paws on one on Thursday. They have a 6 week exclusive and all the posters will be advertising it.

is it really a touch pad when slid down? I've not read confirmation of that anywhere.

I got one today, small review to follow shortly.
It is NOT touch pad, it has 128 MB of onboard memory, the battery is a bigger N series battery, unlike the 8800, and the screen is excellent.
