hard to compare, cos of the big screen and the other features imo. according the title, what i miss is the wlan and the better screen in n73, next to it, a nice fone. not sure, if the joy is the best quality, nokia made far better ones in e60 or e61

If WiFi is nessecary then go with N80 , but let me tell ya that you'ill miss some things that N73 has .
n73 has good battery , IMO better screen resolution , Better sound , Larger Screen , and of course Better camera with Auto Focus and Carl Zeiss lens
n80 is not bad, but yes there are many software bugs going on.

The N73 is a good phone, but the Carl Zeiss lens is useless on a phone, it's only marketing nonsense.

Carl Zeiss are very good lenses for "real" camera's, but a phone cam still is so simple in quality (CMOS sensor instead of the better CCD, for instance), that it's no use, putting a CZ branded lens in it.

indded, also sony is using them in their digicams... as mentioned above, on some way nokia and cz didnt urned out as the best cooperation, just wondering, who and where gone wrong

@whizzkid..Don't know if you're still interested in getting and n73, but they're selling them reconditioned at the orange shop website for 119 gbp.They also stock reconditioned n80's for 99 quid.I ordered myself a n73 yesterday.

Now that i own and have used my N80 for a while,i take back what i said in the 1st page, this phone is a lot better than N73 IMHO, especialy with v5 fw. Its also a very user-friendly phone, something i feel the N73 isn't. When it comes to camera the N73 is slightly better but thats all. The N80 screen is FAR better, makes N73 look a bit crap.

n80 screen is smaller, no a2dp, sound is not better than n73, nor the camera, candybar means no sliding future problems, only good feature is wi-fi (i got gprs, so no need for wi-fi..lol), my time with mine n73 has been the best...the symbian OS simply rocks, no need to flash to change icons or routes, just one simple "move" command. n-gage compatibility with future ngage games (coming in november), need more!!?

N80 is better imho,another is that N73 camera possesses the watercolor effect which degrades the quality of the pictures, i prefer the algorithm of N80 which saves as much detail as it can. sadly it's macro shooting is mediocre compared to N73.

That;s not even possible, how can a fixed focus be better than a auto focus.
