A Java based operating system does'nt matter. You can have Java features in a phone with a operating system not based in Java, and you can have a phone with a java based operating system without java features. However they are often related.

In fact, the 7650 is MIDP Java capable.

That would have been really nice.. but wouldn't it take a lot of battery capacity? Anyway, good idea!

Not at all. Run java code and java virtual machine is just like run a game or a calendar feature. Only drains (very little) baterry while runs.

java will be very hepfull in all new phones and hope in future updates that also T68i will have it
