Excellent hardware specs and pretty machines, but the Windows platform is gonna make each device a letdown.

I still cant forget how excited I was when I got the Imate Jasjar initially, but the inefficiency of Windows Mobile 5 ended up making it a complete pain to use.

does anyone know how the imate ultimate 7150 compare with the htc tytn II?

HTC TyTN II: sliding QWERTY keyboard which re-orientates the screen to landscape, QVGA screen, GPS.

i-mate Ultimate 7150: clamshell QWERTY keyboard (i.e. like Nokia E90) and VGA screen but no GPS.

I would probably buy the 7150, if it weren't for i-mate's almost non-existent software support.

Did anyone here buy i-mate's JASJAM? Upset that i-mate is not planning to release a WM6 upgrade for it?

The 8150 is very nice looking and only 11mm thick. A real contender for my next phone, but that will depend when it actually becomes available, and for how much.
