i think the thing in the final pic is a light sensor for the camera flash but im not sure

If you can't find a way, you can change the keypad with the one from V630i/K618/K610im (K610i will work, but will be ugly)- differences are negligible, but it's plastic.
I don't know if it will fit, though.

If it's worth tryin a key pad from another phone, would it not be worth trying to just buy a new keypad? I only wanted to find out if there was a way to only clean off the rubber stuff only from the key pad whilst leaving the pad compleatly visable. |
