Have you tried it?? Or is this one of the posts that has nothing to do with the real "hands-on" experience?

@tranquil: need to do the same to reach the top, but I don't think they will release a brand new "old" phone. There is allways going to be some new features in it. Like the GH series: GH688 fist, no IR. GH888 next, same phone, same menu, same battery but with IR. See my point?

have already done this - the T300 is a brand new 'old' T68.

yes i have said this before (its a guess, but it makes sense)

t400 - t300 with all t68i features

t500 - real new phone possible t68i replacement
(think z700 in new clothes)

t700 - high end new phone (7650-8910 sector)

nothing above t700 because of marketing issues.

the p series is reserved for pda-like phones so no p100 etc...

thats my theory for the future of

@@ good theory aswell gadget boy - it makes sense - but product release & marketing does not - ''''look every one, we at will have a P800 - how good is this - it will blow everyone away''''' basically - it still aint here. They should keep quiet, like with the T68, it was realsed not to soon after it was announced. - I agree with u though. [addsig]

Nokia is really crappy, I dont see any reason to invest in nokia phone. paying more money to get the cover n size with the same software? sux. However, Nokia 6800 is really cool, thats a very smart design though but i still like P800
P800 is very TEMPTING!~!~~ I want it!
In fact im in love with it when I try the prototype

Yet again, another pointless endless debate over Nokia vs SonyEricsson.

Having owned an a300, z7, 3310, 6210 and a t68i, i reckon SE can still improve a lot. The T68i is overall better than the others that ive had, but there are some areas of improvement.

the a300 has better built quality, the z7 has the best thought out menu structure and has the most comfortable keypad (even though its small) , the 3310 is the best for txting &real quick!, the 6210 has more txt storage and can hold addresses

But! T68i has all the technology n is easy to use. I admit past Sony phones are not the best but they have some really good qualities. I reckon the SE range could do with a little more of a Sony element (apart from p800), cos they've got some of the best high tech stuff around! The nokia phones look like toys but will be popular cos everone else has em. SE should be more aware of the threat from the other companies such as Samsung, Panasonic and Sharp cos theyve recently made some stunners.

SE should make the T68i the low end model and stick in built mp3, camera, 65k colour screens, things that are popular but not on nokia, eg msn messenger etc. on newer phones and work their way up!

Hey Guy´s
Don´t worry about the new phones from Nokia, I just tried Nokia 6100,6610,3510i,3650 and 6800, and I think that they all suck, they are all Nokia 7210 with another design and, 3650 is just a cheap model off 7650.

well have yout tried 8890i, 7250,6800??? i would not speak too early, at least i see some pics of the se's newcomers...

That makes sense... even Nokia-haters would admit that they have some nice features (timed profiles, sms to several people etc) - so add them to SE phones.
Nokia just seem to be strapping a camera to everything these days, and there is going to be a limit to how many people want the camera enough to carry the extra weight.

Gadgetboy

Sorry to inform you that SE won't get anyproduct with the number "4" in it ...I don't see they will put a "5" in front as well.

4 for chinese sound like "death" since SE or E/// always have one product model name for their europe/ asia product, I don't think they will put a 4. 5 sound just like "nothing"

No body like to get death or nothing in their pocket hehehe.

But i think they will be a phone called T700 or T800 or T900

This numbering thing really sound working for Ericsson phone...GH888, GF768, GF788, T18, T68 are all model that sell better in Asia, because 8 sound like "Expand" or "Prosperus" or Weathy.

Well all this is superstitious finding but it really look like this...So maybe P800 could be a best seller after all.

nice to know, some one call nokia and tell them to make a 4xxx line and keep there 5xxx going 2. hehe then they'll lose more market share.
