I've had the same problem with my K800i - I tried doing this but only received the following message in XS++
19:25:56| Baseband ID: 9900
19:25:56| Protocol Version: 3.1
It then just sits there. Anyone have any ideas? When I tried pressing and holding C it wouldn't work at all. |

i'm having a similar problem.. my phone wont switch on at all.. i tried charging it but there's no reaction.. no charging signal at all.. removed teh battery left it out for a day.. and put it back in .. didn't work either.. but everytime i press/hold the on button to turn it on.. on the side where teh infra red thing is.. there's a little red light that turns on..? anyone help? |

Yeah I had this problem. Its because you're ripping the battery out before the phone has completely shut down (don't think that just because the screen is black, that the phone has shut down). You should wait a good 10 seconds after turning the phone off before pulling the battery out, or if your phone has a status LED, wait for it to stop flashing.
When it happened to me (twice with the same model of phone), I took it back and they gave me a brand new replacement handset.
