Well if you read the specs you'd know that its NOT ANOTHER N70.

Its got FP1 on S60 3RD Edition for one and animated flash menus!
Its start of the art slider touch sensitive keys. far better than the N70. Plus it can take more memory external than the N70 - if the N70 had MicroSD or MiniSD it' would be in my pocket at debut - and one of Nokia's TOP sellers even today.

Indeed Nokia build the 6708 only to show the world they also have a licence for Uiq 2xx (they got it before Uiq got taken over by SE.) Imho the 'old' Uiq was more stable then the new. Nokia never sold any decent nr. of their uiq powered cell (neighter did they expect to). On the other hand the comparision/similarities between N70 and SGH-i520 are not meaningfull (i.e. do not really make sens) Yeah I know both devices have key boards (albeit different styles) and screens and make phone calls. And this is about all in similarities. The os is not compatible neighter are the looks. WTF - A comparision with the N73 might be more meaningfull.
