I always find it difficult to know which is the best from comparison shots like in these links because I don't personally know how the exact colours of the scenes that have been shot look. So without knowing this I can't judge which is best.
However, looking at the link from admad a lot of the pics taken with the n73 look very poor which surprised me. |

Translating the link with babelfish shows the K800 gives most accurate colors while Nokias tend to overexpose the pictures (there are few situations where Nokias score better such as in the barn). The link rate K800 as the best camera phone from a camera useablility, simplicity and picture quality point of view. The largest drawback of K800 is its video recording capabilities where the Nokias are unbeatable. |

Just my 2 cents...I almost bought an N73 but after seeing the TERRIBLE night shots I decided to save some money and just get a W810i. I could've held out for the K790a but that stupid lens cover ruins it for me. I really think the K800 is the best overall camera of the lot. It performs the best in alot of different situations...not just outdoor with tons of sunlight.

to each his own...
this discussion will never go anywhere... even tho experts says K800 performs good... yall NOKIA fan boys say NO! its obvious N93 wins it... because its freakin thick... and because its thick... it shoots good... sheeez.
so here mah 2 cents... NOKIA fan boys will nevah give up tha brand and so thus boys around... for me.. i see a better pics when it shows details.. in colors, in edges and stuff like that... what matters for me is that.. the pics colors dont bleed on the side nor edges... a bit sharper in details... good performance in anytime of the day... and so thus at night.
i will admit.. im an fanboy, but i admire NOKIA's line of symbians... because theyre symbians... cmon guys theyre symbians... get me? now are camphones!
chill!

I've used the K800i for about 4 weeks and now have a Nokia N73 as i had probs with the k800i restarting... and i gotta say 'as much as i love SE's phones an their menus and everything about them, for picture taking the N73 takes the lead from a useability and picture features point of view...'
In the reiviews they r using the standard open the box take a pic dont mess with any settings... On the N73 u can change the ISO level, it has about 6 different settings for setting the environment which help get the best pics possible.... i'll post a pic up a bit later today as i am in work at the mo!
The look of the N73 may not be to everyones liking but the same can be said about the SE... IMHO after using both the handsets and not just reading a few reviews i would stick to the N73 as it is mighty superior in camera features....
P.S. as i said i aint a fan boy of any manufacturer, i use the phone that suits my needs the most and offers me more bang for my money! And at the mo the Nokia N73 does this for me... Oh and the N93 is flawed in a number of ways so i would still say N73 wins on all counts!

something is always best to everyone for sure, as we can be deceived with initial impression which sometimes lead to a bias judgement. what is best primarily is the satisfaction with the purchase.
but the choice i wanna try is k800. |

this aint an initial friggin impression! bin using the phone for about 3 or 4 weeks now and its still as good as it was the first time i powered it up!
I dont do first impressions... as i've been working wit mobiles for about 6yrs in retail i cant judge a phone on first impressions!

Too bad. I would really love to see Nokia and Sony Ericsson work together and create a phone totally out of the reach of all others. Sony Ericsson by far has better phone designs. If only they could add the Sony Carl Zeiss lens onto the K800 and Symbian. |
