I was criticized back there when somebody lamented that I am not aware what I was talkin' about when I said that the Samsung D900's 3 MP camera captures 'sharper' / 'better' images when compared with that of the K800's 3.2 MP . . . . though I don't have both these units yet, but having seen images taken with that of the K800's which I think has a little disparity when compared with that of the K750's (2 MP) . . . My final analysis was based with some comparison with those images posted taken with that of the Samsung's D600 and K750 . . . your thoughts mates . . . I would appreciate it greatly if a fellow-member has some images to upload taken both with his/her Samsung D900 and K800 . . . to compare. Many thanks . . . I remain ! [addsig]

There is little difference between the image quality beteen the D900 and K800 although i think the k800 is a touch better....image comparions between the K800/D900 and N73 can been seen HERE on GSM Arena.

After seeing the 3-brand-comparison, I would say that the N73 comes in 1st, D900 - 2nd and the K800 - 3rd ! Though there is just a slight discernment between the D900 and K800 . . . [addsig]

Yup ! If only they can change the HUE on the covers . . . it will look good . . . a little !

@axxxr - Many thanks for the LINK mate, I am now quite relieved how the comparison between the D900 and K800 was put into a TEST ! Though the Nokia N73 played the 'dark horse' in the 3 MP camfone arena [addsig]

Based on those pics at the gsmarena, it's N73, K800i, then D900.

In my opinion, N73 pics are consistently good. K800i pics for the outdoors and building were good. D900 pics are consistently below par comparing to N73 and K800.

Do D900 and N73 have macromode?

sharper? N73? over K800? where?

as far as i can see... N73 bleeds its colors... look at the edges... i bet all those pix taken by those 3 phones were set to standard... or normal...

but then.. K800 offers more versatility in taking snaps... i guess its an advantage... ive held an N73 but not a D900... N73 is slow overall... i mean overall... tho not sluggish, just slow. yes it can capture better pix than K800, seldomly... when all luck falls in the right place... lighting and stuff like that.
but it missing a very vital aspect of photography, its the auto-focus... K800 has it... PLUS PLUS PLUS the macro mode. i think N73 has a tool for macro shots.. i really dunno what its called.. but its dull.. too dull to be compared to a K750.

but then again.. its all personal opinion...

thanks for readin.

Well the D900, whether we'd admit it or not, has a mighty good camera for it's size. The phone's only 13.9mm thick, and for a phone that small to have such a decent camera should be commended.
I'd agree that the N73 did better than the K800 though. Hopefully the next Cybershot from SE has an even better camera and (if they get their sense right) a good quality Carl-Zeiss lense.

I thought the n93 pics looked better in many of the shoots (not all though)
but I would still rather have the k800 since I don't like the rest of the nokia phone.. if only picture quality matters then ill choose a digitalcamera =)
