Should I sell my very slightly faulty W800i and get a W810i? (now got W810i - thoughts on it) |

Well, I got the W810i today! First thoughts?
I feel it's a slightly better looking phone, and the screen does seem that bit brighter and sharper when compared to that of the W00i. It's also listed the tracks I have on the memory stick by artist - which the W800i didn't do for some reason, the tracks didn't show up in it's music player!
Juries out on the D-Pad, the joystick was easier to use, but my prove to be more durable..... but I've never had a problem with the joystick on my W800i!
Not tried the radio yet but think it doesn't have RDS, which is a bit of a shame.
The external speaker seems louder, which was one big complaint I had of the W800i, it was far too quiet.
The lack of a camera cover also could get annoying, as the lens is more or less right where you'd put your finger whilst holding the phone/texting, I keep getting fingermarks on it, will just have to hold it a bit differently I guess.

Just tried mine and it has RDS!
It's also quite nice having both a Walkman button and the 'Activity' button of the K750i, the W810i seems like a good combination of both the W800 and K750.

HI! get a w810. it has edge! and looks way cooler than w800. personally, i would get a w810 coz its newer and all the technical issues with w800 were resolved with w810. and its colour is less annoying. i mean, who thought of clashing orange and ivory? @ least the w810 is more descreet.

so far still a big fan of the 810, material quality to me doesn't feel quite as good, but that's more of an objective thing imho.
Also of course you get the over-the-air firmware updates on the 810 too!
and an rss feed reader, found that today also, should be useful!
will try to set it up for Esato.
