This is intresting. GSM Arena did a review of N80, and praised it like anything! Mobile review bashed the hell out of it. They seriously made it look like a piece of crap.

I think, when it comes to smartphone's, you have to have experience of handsets that came before it..or the platform in general...mobile review's review of the n80 was quite unfair and stupidly written....a classic case of bias if ever i saw one. |

They mentioned it that the prototype they reviewed couple of months back was a lot better. |

Actually that little excerpt that you used "That display was very sharp and clear and felt unbreakable." was used to describe the screen of the S700 and not the K800. Just next time, be a bit nicer Balance your criticisms with a positive comment or something...

| shaliron,
a) thanks for reminding me of minimal standards of human inter-blahblahblah. You have a point, however I do not believe in it. It doesn't matter if it referred to s700 or k800... I'm talking about the logic, cohesion and coherence of the piece - on a site where things for a number of reasons should be kept logical, short, sweet and to the point. Which of the two phones he was talking about is totally irrelevant in that regard and context. If you don't understand this point, there is no use in this little exchange. B) I absolutely refuse to buy into this"balanced critique" bullshit.
I made it clear that I was possibly a bit over the top, that it wasn't the end of the world, etc, etc... What nonsense to think I should balance something I don't agree with. This isn't lit-crit 101. And, ironically (!!!), part of the problem with the piece was that the author tried too HARD to be text-book balanced, giving exaaaaamples for every little example of every little example... etc., etc... I agree, I could've made it even clearer, that I was a bit over the top, etc., and I could have been slightly nicer to the author, NOT ABOUT THE PIECE! Blimey, call the manners-police! Next time I will send a private message to "the man" so that no delicate little laws shall be compromised. Actually, yes, I admit that would've been tne thing to do in the first place. Or I'll lose my balance...
Almost just kiddin',
adios
