Oooh, maggflodd is bad... Again! Sorry guys, and appreciating apologies to the man who made the effort, really, BUT it's bad, it doesn't belong here, it's incomplete, its maths is wrong, it's way too 'me, me, me...' (not intentionally, I'm sure as a professional translator... Sorry, again!). But really, I wouldn't buy loo roll based on a poorly done review such as that - But, am I totally wrong? Is it just me? Correct me! And still, thanks anyway!

Actually I think the review was pretty good. Nice photos of the phone and basically the opposite of what was said above ^ Good job!

It was rushed. Too many things were'nt even mentioned or given a glance. |

Agreed. It's always great to read a review, but I think this one really picked and chose what it wanted to cover, and then did so in a pretty vague manner.
Photos were good, however.

Fair enough, but if you want a concise review, look at this one from mobique Very long, but covers everything!

At one place, he mentioned that he was able to read gmail on the k800, and was impressed by the number of emails he could list in the phone. He never mentioned anything about the phone complaining about certificates while receiving gmails, and obviopusly, he hasn't tried to send an email using the K800 and gmail's SMTP server. I have tried, it doesn't work. The gmail support didn't even bother to answer my query about it, the only thing I have received is an autoreply message that they have received my query. |

I like GSM Arena and Mobique for their user friendliness, because they are easy to understand. But when it comes to actually going down in deep detail, noone does it better than mobile review. |

Actually I prefer the ones given by gsmarena, mobileburn and mobique. I think that they give more of a look at the actual phone, and its features etc. whereas mobile-review's are great for commentary about the phone but it doesn't go specifically into particular phone functions, which is probably due to the fact that he gets prototypes.
Eldar (from mobile-review) also gives a lot of hints in his reviews about upcoming phones from manufacturers which is the main drawcard for me. And the photos are great as well, but the translating ...

Haha. Completely agree about the translation, but in some ways that makes it more exciting in an ambiguous fashion!
I like mobile-review as it does a lot of comparison between the software of older and similar models, with emphasis on the little features - things easily glossed over.
To me, that's really important. It's exciting to know where the changes and improvements have been made.
Edit: I do like this Mobique review also!

Yeah, it's the small things that really count. Especially for us Aussies (and the like) who have to wait even longer for the new phone to come out!

This is intresting. GSM Arena did a review of N80, and praised it like anything! Mobile review bashed the hell out of it. They seriously made it look like a piece of crap. |

pheeweiieh,
I was afraid I'd be chased of the site... But having re-read both the review and my little "critique", I don't think I was off the mark. Take this pearl: "That display was very sharp and clear and felt unbreakable. Just after two weeks usage I have already managed to create a small scratch on the display." ...Now, sorry, did he proof by managing to scratch it that it's unbreakable? Cause that's what he's saying. In fairness, the internet is a good place to hone your writing skills, but I think the idea of this site is to make information available... not to confuse. And many people access the forum/site on mobile devices, so that some editing skills, logical thinking and the ability to self-censor one's mouth/fingers is not a bad thing. Non of that of course applies to me... But there are good reviews out there, I agree. And the more reason to post a good one here, isn't it?
I'll be nicer next time!

Actually that little excerpt that you used "That display was very sharp and clear and felt unbreakable." was used to describe the screen of the S700 and not the K800. Just next time, be a bit nicer Balance your criticisms with a positive comment or something...
