Can you please provide complete pin layouts (not only data ones) for both Ericsson 688 and t39 phones? Could you contact me by e-mail gunku@dati.lv for more info?

fregor, I have one question for you - I really hope you can help me, because my operator nor Ericsson service didn't.
I have T65 (R5A010 firmware) and GPRS enabled. It works well for wap. I have also limited access to internet - special APN with access to 2 web pages of my operator - it's just for testing, but I think I will be able to browse also other pages. But I have problem that I'm not able to connect.
I have Windows XP, modem driver for T65. I have made the RS232 cable itself, but it works for SMS download, phonebook and other staff. I set-up dialup connection using this modem, dialing *99***1# (APN for internet is stored as CID=1 data profile). Windows sends ATD... command to phone and phone displays "Connecting..." on its display. One second later, it returns "CONNECT" to PC without any other parameters. Windows thinks it's connected and tries to send PPP packets. After some time it ends up with timeout and hangs-up. The problem is that phone even doesn't try to communicate with network - I have put it near radio and it was just silence. I tought it can problem with my cable, so I tried to connect using CSD wap - and I was succesful, Windows connected 9.6kbps and also got an IP address over PPP. So the cable is OK in my opinion.
I also tried a lot AT commands directly in HyperTerminal - using AT commands reference for T68. I was able to connect using that APN (AT+ACT or +ATT, don't remember now) and the phone also got IP address. But the problem is that the phone was connected (and had IP address), not the PC.
Can you please help me with this? I would really appreciate it...
Thanks... |

Hi Fregor, I have question for you. These few days I have problem making phone call with my T68i phone. I cannot make outgoing calls and people told me that they have a hard time reaching me. They called me and it directed them to my voicemail. I did not get any missed calls. At first I thought there was something wrong with the network but No. Usually bad network, in my phone it will display " No Network" and now, my phone says : " No Access" Do you know what's the problem here?
I hope you can helpe me with this one. |

@johnj2803
not all bluetooth devices are capable of receiving objects from the phone using OBEX protocol. Usually it's just FTP (which is commonly used for PC to PC transfers.) Check out the differetn bluetooth adapter threads (ie the MSI 6967 where the users have managed to "upgrade" their firmware using software coming from Tecom (a different brand). I had the same issue before, but after the upgrade, and configuring my setup, i can now receive any object coming from the phone. hth.
@henleo
I also experience that at times when there's an active GPRS data connection (though i've set the phone to accept calls during GPRS sessions.) - sorry for the very late reply.

Why isn't it possible to change the operato logos like a Nokia on a Ericsson/Sony Ericsson phone? Nokia allows us to download the Operator logos to replace the normal text name of the operator. Why is this not possible in a SE phone?
