I'd say your issue 1 wasn't a major bug, just a slight gripe! 2. is a problem if it happens to you a lot, and other folk report it too, if not then it can't be firmware.

I personally have had the crazy golf game freeze a few time. But i've worked out if you hold the power button down it doesn't turn the phone off it kinda "end task"'s the locked program. Which is useful.

I'd say 1 was a major bug if your taking a lot of vids and you can't tell wich is wich coz it keeps coming up with black thumbnails.

First and foremost its a phone though, not a video camera, not even a very good video camera at that....

I have set up my Gmail account and I am able to receive but can not send messages..
I get "TLS/SLL server certificate not authorised by known authority" despite setting the outgoing server on SLL encryption.

Has anyone been succesful sending messages with Gmail?

Idon't think this is unusual is it? I was never able to send gmail SSL on O2 for example and can't now. I also can't send gmail SSL over my broadband ISP.

I cannot even receive with Gmail and I've gone over the settings a thousand times. I am using SSL for both in and out. Ports are at 995 and 465 (I tried 587 as well). I can use flurrymail (but would prefer to run the "native" client) and I can pop the emails to Mail.app in OS X.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Does that mean that coz it's video quality isn't that great it shouldn't work properly???

Come on, be sensible here...

So if you bought a cheap car, like a punto, and you couldn't use the indicators you'd just put up with it because 'first and foremost' its to drive and not to tell people which direction it's driving? oh and also its not really a high quality car.

Does that also mean that if you can't browse the internet properly on it you should just accept because its just a phone? The days of a mobile phone being just a phone are long gone. Why would they put MP3 players or camera's them then?

But what your say is that video does work, it just doesn't put a thumbnail pic next to it!

Going to your Punto analogy, do you need a picture of an indicator on the indicator stalk? or do you just turn on the indicator without thinking or looking?

Prior to flashing my phone with firmware from wotanserver.com I was able to make secure connections to my IMAP servers.

Since the firmware upgrade I am unable to. Anyone got any suggestions?
