Has any of the following 2 happened to anyone else?

1) Took a few pics and videos, and the thumbnail pic for the videos was there for some and not for others. They come back after i reboot the phone, but when i play some again the thumbnail pic disappears.

2) Phone has rebooted twice while i've been auto-focussing on things.

Ok here is a revised version of my first post in this thread.

Has any of the following 3 happened to anyone else?

1) Took a few videos, and the thumbnail pic for the videos was there for some and a black thumbnail for others. They come back after i reboot the phone, but when i play some again the thumbnail pic disappears and becomes just a black thumbnail.

2) Phone has rebooted twice while i've been auto-focussing on things and holding it on auto-focus e.g not taking the picture straight away (waiting 15 seconds)

3) There is a green band down the right hand side of the screen when recording a video in landscape mode (not tried videoing in normal). The band doesn't appear in the played back video.

1 & 2 i'd say are pretty major bugs.

I'm using an O2 branded K800i with R1CB001.

Anyone?

It hasn't rebooted itself again, and i've been taking quite a few pics and vids, but the thumbnails problem is really starting to do my head in, it only happens with the thumbnails of vids and not all of them, and it doesn't always require a reboot to get them back, some just appear back. I'm storing my pics and vids on a 1GB M2 card. The bug may only happen with vids stored on the memory card. Not a lot of people have a memory card yet so it might not have been noticed so far.

What do you's think?

Is there anyone else storing there vids to an M2 (preferably a 1GB one) that has encountered these problems or can check?

I have the same thing. Green stripe down right side in landscape, reboots trying to rotate pics in an mms and also the movie icons don't appear on the thumbnails until you go into one of the movies then back out - then they all appear.

O2 same firmware.

I experienced this when I was finished recording a video, it was pretty annoying but I just restarted and everything was fine.

Hopefully fixed in the next firmware update!

Ok so it isn't specific to my phone. The first bug really annoys me, i hope they get that sorted soon. The K750i had a firmware update released a month after it came out to address it's first stage of bugs, hopefully the K800i will be the same.

Has anyone else noticed the volume through the headphones is quite low even on max?

Hopefully they get feedback from people and address these issues in the first firmware update.

Apart from that i'm really impressed by the phone. Hopefully we'll see a few games/themes etc. appearing in the next month or so.

I'd say your issue 1 wasn't a major bug, just a slight gripe! 2. is a problem if it happens to you a lot, and other folk report it too, if not then it can't be firmware.

I personally have had the crazy golf game freeze a few time. But i've worked out if you hold the power button down it doesn't turn the phone off it kinda "end task"'s the locked program. Which is useful.

I have set up my Gmail account and I am able to receive but can not send messages..
I get "TLS/SLL server certificate not authorised by known authority" despite setting the outgoing server on SLL encryption.

Has anyone been succesful sending messages with Gmail?

I'd say 1 was a major bug if your taking a lot of vids and you can't tell wich is wich coz it keeps coming up with black thumbnails.

That's normal, happens to my digital cameras too. It's just like viewing a large jpeg, it'll slowly load up as it decompresses the image.

Idon't think this is unusual is it? I was never able to send gmail SSL on O2 for example and can't now. I also can't send gmail SSL over my broadband ISP.

I thought the green stripe was because the screen is a larger size than the video actually records.
