yes but with the w550 you can change the covers they also included a white one with the package and not a black i wonder why

good question... only light colours are avaiable for w800 and w550, might be there are some third party covers in dark colours ( even black ), however i never saw any. did actually se ever commented the decision of a clour at any fone?

They probably had the W550 and W800 in white because a walkman normally implies active lifestyle, and youth most importantly. Plus, it was their first, so they didnt think about the black color. |

i never saw an w800 or w550 in balck, imo it would look that bad, but its hard to judge without any pix

W800 wouldnt look good. It has that orange strip which is not part of the whole body but another piece. Its better if its differenciated with the white body part. |
