nope, not that I am aware of. you need to be on the vodafone service and for me, the only reason these days with a 3g phone is using the sky service

@masseur how u mean k doesnt have tv as such?

it depends on the operator, what kind of channels u can watch ( as u mentioned , for example on 3 austria ca cghannles, 3 of them free of charge constantly ) or u ment its actually not afone to watch tv in general?

I have used my 3g vodafone sim to access voda live but the sky service says it cant connect to the server.

I've got an old O2 Online simcard that I've popped into my K800i, but it doesn't have access to 3G services. Will have to get a new one issued by O2.

there was a thread about it somewhere, imo u should give a call to o2 and ask the right solution

Yes Marc, you will need an O2 3G sim card in order to use their 3G services. From what I hear O2 will be getting TV services soon.

Well - this is funny. My SIM is from 1998 (!) and when I got my V800 last year I just put it in and all 3G services worked, even TV. I'm on Swisscom, so there is no hardware-related reason why a SIM change would be neccessary.
It's just how operators handle it: do they distinguish between 2G and 3G usage (seems to be that way in the UK) or do they treat both the same as here in Switzerland.
