ROLMAO @ the thread starter. Jokes aside, apparently homebrew-ing phones is gaining in popularity especially in the US.

Insha Allah, I like that and live by that. Insha Allah, it will never catch on and people will not start jacking up their phones and then taking them back to SE to fix, with a whine in their throat.

Why homebrew your w800? Don't you like what SE did on it?

Max, don't encourage this. Let this thread die like it should have.

w800i is capable of multi-tasking - you can minimise programs, can't you?!?

and by the way...the answer is yes, you can homebrew an OS for the w800i...otherwise how did se make an OS for the phone?!? - if you have a contact that was in the team that did the work at se, then yeah i'm sure you can find out how to do it...but otherwise...no you definately can't...and it would take you years...and i mean years to do such a task, because se must have atleast 50 or more highly trained programmers working on it, and it takes them atleast 2years/3years to do such a task. Most of the problems that happen are due to software faults not allowing the phone to use all of it's functions etc.

if anyone can prove me wrong, like always...tell meh!!!!!!
