Being a teacher, I'm looking for portable devices and use my phone as a center for audio.
Are these speakers enough to use in a classroom, I mean NOT overly loud but convingly loud ?
Thanks a lot !
I currently use some powered PC speakers attached to my w900. Great, but I have to hook them every time...

i'd think most likely not. it all depends on the size of the classroom, volume of the audio recording, and the background noise in your classroom. but id say if you need to crank up your pc speakers as loud as they go to get your students to hear as it is, the mps-60 aint gonna do the trick. maybe for 10 well behaved students gathered around. its more for background music at the beach, outdoors, or for listening in a fairly quiet enviroment or small room. i'd say they're comparable to the speakers on a laptop. they are really tiny though, the case easily fits in my pocket. the sound definately is good for the size. at that size any semblance of bass is remarkable. and not bad for the price (~30 USD). but for a system comparable to pc speakers, you should go with the symfony classic music station(probably around $80) or wait for the mps-70 in august (~100ish?) or spring the 200+ for the mds-70, a mini hi-fi system. |

Hi all to this thread. has anyone heard the quality of the Symfony Classic Music Station? I'm getting bored waiting for the MDS-60 as i go on my hols soon. But i'm also reluctant to buy the Symfony Classic Music Station without know a little about the sound quality. Any suggests would be welcomed.

The Symphony classic actually sounds, pretty good. Not sure about the MDS-60 never heard a chance to listen to it. But, the Symphony Classic isn't great for holds.
1) Its huge. I mean big.
2) It weighs a ton, like its made of solid metal or something. Portable it is not... |

Hi there!
I'm wondering how much MPS-60 uses W800i's battery energy compared to for example Creative Travelsound 200? I would gladly hear your opinion about this idea to buy Travelsound 200 for W800i.

Okay, nobody answered and I decided to buy Creative TravelDock 900. It seems to be very good. Such a small speakers give a good mini-hifi sound. The sound is VERY clear and I can even hear some bass when the extrabass of the phone is turned on. In addition the price of 39,90€ wasn't very expensive! |

got mine in the mail today and I like them alot.
quite a bit louder than the speaker in the phone, clearer and small.
very cool.
I got it off of e-bay, the seller was from HongKong and it was only about $30 US dollars delivered! |
