I've spotted the first 4gb memory stick PRO duo on ebay for £155.97 delivered which doesn't seem to bad, and from what looks like a reputable seller

since we have 1gb and 2gb pricing threads please post any further links for the availability of these 4gb cards in this thread

I'm tempted, very tempted

That's not a bad price, i'm thinking I might sell one of my 2GB cards now, and buy a nice 4GB one

@the other posters, where have you all been the last six months, we've been discussing the 4 and 8GB cards for ages

So can anyone confirm that the W800 can see the full size (and use it) of one these 4GB babies? There's a reply a little earlier but he doesn't really go into detail on which model or even the size of memory stick...

Yeah, it'll support upto 32GB, it just says it'll support 2GB on the website as that was all that was available at the time

Yes it does see it, ive used it and it worked fine even on the K750i, and it can also format it.

Like masseur said when they printed that info they only forecasted for the K750i. If there are any problems a firmware update usually fixes these problems...

I also gave a link to the discussion thread for 4gb and 8gb memory cards so please continue there for that

um, there are already several prices posted here, do you have an issue with those posts? If you can't google and find your own contribution in your local currency, why not take the prices here already and run them through an online currency converter yourself?

And then post here for your countrymen.

I found a 4GB Pro Duo II on eCost $269 still seems a liitle bit steep. Does anyone know if its available anywhere cheaper in Europe?

Cheers

seems a bit steep. Is that US dollars? I've seen prices between 240 and 300 in Australian dollars. At the current exchange rate of approx. 75 cents US to the Australian dollar, the upper end of australian pricing of 300 AUD equals 225 USD so I guess $269 US is a bit steep.

these are getting cheaper. The same seller that I mentioned in the opening post of this thread has sold a few and now has one up for £135.97 (including postage and insurance)

hey! thats even better. that didn't come up in my saved search because I filter out 4gb memory stick auctions that mention PSP as there are/have been so many with those 4gb hard drives (& battery combo) for PSP

I'll have to revise my search criteria...
