I've spotted the first 4gb memory stick PRO duo on ebay for £155.97 delivered which doesn't seem to bad, and from what looks like a reputable seller

since we have 1gb and 2gb pricing threads please post any further links for the availability of these 4gb cards in this thread

I'm tempted, very tempted

nice! tempted, although i don't think i'll get one since i'm currently waiting for the k800, and since that takes the micros, i won't need this. really cool though, hopefully once the k800 and others are out etc, SE will start releasing bigger capatcity sticks.

oh and don't you mean £139.99, £145.98 including P&P.

no, there is compulsory £9.99 insurance so the total I wrote is correct

but I'm like you which is why I am hesitating a little, I'll be getting the K800 but have several other devices which use PRO duo so I'm just trying to decide whether 2gb is enough for my digital camera etc or whether 4gb would save me worrying about filling it up when on holiday

oh ok fine, didn't see that bit

my dad wants my k750 when i get my k800, so he might want this 4gb stick, since he's very much into music and photography. although he already has a sony walkman, but the phone will replace his digital camera.

New sony 4GB and 8GB Memory Stick!

but I'm just looking for links to where the 4gb is available, not a discussion of these as we can use that thread for the discussion

there is no reason to doubt its compatibility

its funny how you don't get people asking on digital camera sites whether newly available larger memory stick will be compatible, I guess we're preconditioned here by our previous experiences

anyway, I'm certain there will be no problem... SE wouldn't dare make it not compatible

SE claim the W700 suports 4GB. Since the W700 is essentially a W800, I can't see there being a problem with the K750/W800's.

The cheapest Aussie retail price I've seen for the 4GB Duo is 240 AUD.

as always, SE only quote compatibility for accessories actually available at the time, which the 4gb was not, of course
