it's ugly. I wouldnt buy a phone like it. I'd prefer the w900 thousand time than w550

if only for the stereo speakers i'd buy it... and i have. i hate that the grey/silver coating's starting to wear off, though. now that's ugly.

I think the W550 looks kinda funky; it's certainly not a run-of-the-mill design, so from an originality point of view as well...I dig it.
Yes I know there was previous swivel designs like the Moto V70 and V80, SE S700 etc, but I like the 'attention to detail' on the W550's exterior. |

Allthough its not the phone for me, I still think its a beautifully designed phone with great functionality.

i dont think its ugly, but i do think it will take a while for me to get used 2 the keypad (im getting mine tomorrow) i have one question : how bad is the camera?

not exactly bad. but if youve seen what wonders 2 megapixels and autofocus can work, you'll be disgusted at the w550's cam. it's that bad |

thanx i have seen my m8z w800i camera and i think its great but it goes weird when you zoom in past 3.0 sorry but is there any servre (cart spell) with the w500i

it's a love and hate relationship with my w550's camera. sometimes it takes pretty good pictures, other times it takes awful pictures. has to do with the lighting and how far your subject is, i guess. i mean compare these pictures taken with a w550:
first one, with light assist in low lighting (subj. too far)
second one, no light assist but in well-lighted environment:
