For the airtel live tv to work u have to disable the proxy and port settings in streaming settings

Thanks ppl. Now it works for me. I had set the streamin profile as nop but it should be Airtel live. Thanks again.

airtel provides its edge speeds only when using live streaming.It gives only normal gprs speeds during browsing or accessing net . When i call CC people to enquire bout edge facility they think tat it is the term used 4 viewing live streaming .

The full GPRS is called MO (Mobile Office).

They charge around Rs 200 to old customers and 400 to new customers.

The other thing is Just MMS, which is Rs 100.

Never tried streaming with airtel though. Their connection is as it is very slow. (Around 35-40kbps bandwith, 4.5 - 5.2 kbps download)

(charges are for Mumbai location)

hi. . I dont think so. I have been using mobile office for over an year now and have experienced since 3 days now that the browsing & download speed is over twice of what i used to get with a non edge handset. Im temporarily using a nokia 6681 in place of the jam & the speed is truly evident when i browse on my laptop. So maybe you should check your facts
