OHH f**k!!! NOO!!! f**k!!! I f**k !! OH SHIT!!!>> f**k!! .. The update stufed up on the second block  :@ f**k!!!!!!!!! NOW IT WONT UPDATE CUZ IT SAYS IT HAS THE LATEST SOFTWARE!!! f**k!! WAT THE f**k AM I GOING TO DO NOW!!

When I first updated my phone I came across that probelm aswell but this is what I did to fix it.
First of all you have to have all the required drivers installed, then follow the steps on the update service program, but when you first do this your phone has to install the "flash drivers" and with XP OS you should see the small yellow dialog on the taskbar saying detected flash drivers something like that.
The next step is repeat the same process.
1 Remove SIM
2 Hold down C, and insert the usb cable in and (WAIT)
3 important note: You must only release your finger of the C button when the software tells you to
4 Then let go and leave your phone alone and see your phone update..
The latest update so far for K750i is R1BC002 which fixes almost all the problems SE users have has so far with low noise, slow phone process.. |

BAH .. i dont hav any fone proccess right now .. i nice turned my fone into a paper weight .. GEEZ wat am i supposed 2 do without a fone. I recieve alot of calls daily , i am tottally f**ked.

Sorry to hear that,mate. The 'updating phone software' phase relates mainly to the harddisk of your PC. If it fails,it means your PC might have problems..So your K750 won't turn on anymore? All steps I did above were working nicely without problems..from R1N035..R1AA008..and now R1BC002. Are you sure your battery had been 100%full before updating? It might have been fatal.. |

Im going to take it into my Vodafone store in Blacktown in about an hour. What do i tell them? Do i just come clean and say 'i tryed to update it under certified SEUS , I called Sony Ericsson and they told me to take it to my Vodafone store" Or do i say somthing else?
P.S AUSTRALIA : Daylight savings is over , Please set your time 1 hour backwards.

Well it seems i have 'Voided' My warrenty , but the guy behind the counter was a friggen retard. He doesnt even know wat SEUS was and he deny's that there is such thing. I simply came clean and said " I updated my K750i WIth Official Certiefied SEUS and it failed on the second block , What do i do?" He simply said in a Indian Accent "Ahh no such thing , Sony No do updates , You Void Warrenty! We do nothing." So after we had a long talk and he started asking me questions for my account i simply blew up and said "Listin to me you cool , THERE IS SUCH A THING AS SEUS! GO BACK TO WERE EVER YOU nice CAME FROM!" and i walked out of the store in fury.
I then went to another store and they told me to goto were i bought the phone , I went to that Vodafone store and asian dude told me " You can either give it to me or The service across the road from A place called "harvey norman" The thing is if i give it to him he works till 6 on weekdays and 8 on thursdays and it will take about 2 weeks to get it done becuase of many other customers , Or i give it to the service They dont work on weekends and they are open till 4:30 on weekdays and 8 on thursdays. I cant make it to that store becuase work finishes at 5 and also i may have to pay for it at 'the service store' but since i hav warrenty these guys do it for free watever i do.
I think about it long and hard and decide to give it to the asian dude becuase he has served me pretty well in the past.
Now im stuck with a nokia 6610 i think it is.

branded phones may have some problems but u should look at forums before u go and try an update and also see if there is an update for your phone
i only use unbranded sonyericssons and its worked like a charm no problems except for the k750i joystick dirt problems that i got rid off when i take it to the service center and they fixed it in 10 minutes

I had that problem too. And after a research on the internet have found a solution for stacking on the update progress while it downloads software updates from the internet. So that means you can't come over the menu where you choose your country. I have solved that by changing all my regional settings to UK. All setting you see in you regional settings should be United Kingdom and than you can come to the menu where you choose the country you are in. And after updating my phone I have changed it again to my home country. I don't know why but it works only in that way |
