Before installing Sony Ericsson Update Service version 2.2.17d, you should have downloaded K750 Update Service driver and K750 USB driver first. Visit SE site and install these two...good luck..

Do you mind giving me links? Becuase the SE site in confusing and frustrating.

EDIT:Well this site is unbelievable , fuking hell. There are about 7 links on each page pointing to the same Fukin place , and if u click on that link , it gives u more fukin links that puts u into another page , and then again and again then it finaly brings u back to the page u fukin started off at :@!! . Well i have found nothing near a driver on the SE Site.

If u feel lyk getting pissed Look NOWERE ELSE but the SE site.

Try these-at least it worked for me.
1.extract k750 update service usb and k750 usb driver in a folder.
2.Turn off your phone, take the SIM out, press C button on ur K750 and connect the DCU 60 cable to the phone. ur phone will be on. release C.
3.Windows will do driver wizard-at least 5 wizard windows. just click OK.
4.do safely remove hardware
5.pull out the cable, take out the battery, insert again

9.now install SEUS 2.2.17d. click it to work.it will download application update file..
8.you will get region option. choose.
9.when you see START page click it.
10.wait again-maybe 5 minutes. wait and wait, the server may be busy

Yes,definetely must be off. It just took maximum 30 minutes..don't move ur phone during updating process-or it will damage ur phone. I have updated 6 times to understand how SEUS really works. chčers, from INDONESIA.

When the update finishes successfully, take out the DCU 60,pull out the battery, insert again, turn on the phone. If it fails to turn on,don't worry, try again-wait again and it will do. Anyway I don't know whether there's the same R1BC002 F/W for branded phone..

My PC is Pentium 4;512MB RAM memory,of 100Mbps internet connection, though in reality only 20-40kbps..funny,right? it depends on the server..It just took 30 minutes to update completely-once it took even only 15 mins-dunno what happens to your connection..is that broadband? Mine isn't..well,calm down,mate..

You can always unplug the DCU60 anytime only during'downloading phone software' phase but not during 'updating phone software' phase. I guess the program doesn't work properly..why don't you restart the SEUS from beginning? Sorry, mate, that's all what I can help..here I even live in a small town where broadband is only a 'fantasy'-guess,I have been lucky having no troubles so far..cheers!
